Your heart data stays on your iPhone, Apple Watch, and your personal iCloud account. We operate no servers and never receive your health information.
Not a medical device. SVT Monitor is an informational tool for personal tracking. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease. Always consult a licensed cardiologist for diagnosis and treatment. If you are experiencing chest pain, fainting, or prolonged palpitations, call emergency services.
Overview
SVT Monitor is an iOS and Apple Watch app developed by Nicholas Bilodeau under AIBridges (Cranston, Rhode Island). It reads heart-rhythm data from Apple Health to help people with supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) track potential episodes, log personal triggers (caffeine, alcohol, sleep, stress), and visualize patterns over time.
The app is built with a privacy-first architecture: all detection, statistics, and on-device AI summarization happen entirely on your device. Your health data is never transmitted to any server operated by AIBridges or any third party.
What Data the App Accesses
With your explicit permission through Apple’s HealthKit consent screen, SVT Monitor reads the following from Apple Health:
- Heart rate — to detect elevated-HR events and populate the dashboard.
- Heart rate variability (SDNN) — for the HRV panel.
- Resting heart rate — to anchor your personal baseline.
- Sleep analysis — to auto-fill last night’s sleep hours into your trigger log.
SVT Monitor never writes to Apple Health. The app requests HealthKit read-only access and declines the write scope.
What Data the App Stores — and Where
The following data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework:
- Logged episodes (start, end, severity, optional notes).
- Logged triggers (caffeine, alcohol, sleep hours, stress score).
- Your onboarding profile (first name, age, sex, resting baseline, optional SVT diagnosis date, optional medications notes, optional cardiologist/emergency contact fields) — all entered by you, kept on device.
- App preferences (alert thresholds, notification settings).
If you enable iCloud sync, a JSON bundle of your episodes and triggers is written to your own iCloud Drive container. This data moves only between your devices through Apple’s end-to-end-encrypted iCloud infrastructure. AIBridges has no access to it.
What We Do NOT Collect
- No heart-rate, HRV, sleep, or any health data is uploaded to any server we operate
- No personally identifiable information (name, email, address, phone)
- No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking of any kind
- No crash reporting services
- No advertising identifiers (IDFA)
- No IP address logging
- No user accounts — there is no sign-up, login, or server authentication
- No third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, or attribution
AIBridges does not operate any backend server for this app. There is no “phone-home” behavior at any time, including on launch, during detection, or when generating AI summaries.
On-Device Apple Intelligence
On iOS 26 and later, on supported devices, SVT Monitor may use Apple’s on-device Foundation Models framework to generate natural-language summaries of your episode patterns and to draft an optional cardiologist-visit report.
This processing runs entirely on your iPhone’s Neural Engine. No prompts, completions, episode data, or any content is sent to Apple servers or to any other server. If Apple Intelligence is unavailable on your device or disabled in Settings, the app falls back to its rule-based insight engine, which also runs entirely on device.
Apple Watch Companion
The Apple Watch app reads live heart-rate samples from Apple Health on the Watch to update the live dashboard, detect possible episodes, and fire haptic alerts. It writes log entries to the shared SwiftData store synced to the iPhone. All processing is local to the Apple Watch and iPhone pair. No Watch data is transmitted to any external server.
Permissions SVT Monitor Requests
No other capabilities are requested. The app does not access your Photos, Contacts, Location, Camera, Microphone, or any other protected data class.
Third-Party Services
SVT Monitor integrates with exactly two platforms, both provided by Apple and governed by Apple’s own privacy policy:
- Apple HealthKit — read-only, on-device.
- Apple iCloud Drive — your personal iCloud container, optional.
There are no other third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, crash reporters, or external APIs bundled with the app.
Data Retention & Deletion
Because all of your SVT Monitor data lives on your device and in your own iCloud, deletion is entirely in your hands.
- Delete the app — removes local SwiftData storage and all on-device content instantly.
- Clear the iCloud bundle — open Files → iCloud Drive → SVT Monitor and delete the folder. Nothing on any AIBridges system retains a copy.
- Revoke HealthKit access — Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → SVT Monitor.
Since we never receive your data, there is nothing on our side to delete.
Children’s Privacy
SVT Monitor is rated 12+ in the App Store for infrequent/mild medical/treatment information. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no personal data is transmitted to AIBridges, no provisions are required under COPPA, and no parental-consent flow is needed.
Changes to This Policy
If the app’s data practices change, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for any material change, surface a notification in the app’s About screen and in App Store release notes before the updated version ships.
