This week's note for grown-ups

Mrs. Boucher's September 20 email, This week in 3B, says:

Your children had so much fun “tasting” different genres that they may not normally reach for.
Every time they finish reading a book, they fill out a reading response page and trade it in for a bead to add to their necklace.

This week's two activities extend those two reading topics. The four genres, short texts, and oral-response prompts are original home practice. The email does not specify genre names or new spelling, math, or religion lessons, and contains no newsletter image or attachment.

The digital necklace is for practice. Use Mrs. Boucher's paper reading response to earn a classroom bead. No book titles, responses, or recordings are collected here. Only anonymous exploration marks and a bead count stay on this device.

Also in the email: no school September 21; Saints Casino Night October 2, 6-10 pm; Picture Day and the Fall Book Fair begin October 5; 3B hosts the school prayer service November 18 at 8:45 am. Classroom wish-list purchases are entirely optional.
