Road to STAR Day:
How to read this. Each bar is the first-try accuracy — how often the answer was right on the first attempt, which mirrors how STAR scores in the fall. Green = ready for a harder level, blue = on track, red = worth more practice. Stars measure how much they played; accuracy measures how much they mastered.

School connection: equal groups

Play Pip's Packing Party uses the four number sets from the supplied Savvas worksheet: 2 groups of 3, 3 groups of 7, 5 groups of 4, and 4 groups of 6. Chloe packs each group, writes repeated addition and multiplication, and explores the five-part bar model.

The worksheet matches enVision Mathematics, Grade 3, Lesson 1-1: Relate Multiplication and Addition, from the Reteach to Build Understanding resources in the Teacher's Resource Masters. The exact edition is not visible in the photo; Savvas lists this lesson in both 2020 and 2024.

A matching physical companion book is enVision Mathematics 2020: Teacher's Resource Masters, Grade 3, Volume 1 (Topics 1–7), ISBN 9780134954158. This identifies the 2020 volume; the photo alone cannot confirm Chloe's printing.

The game adapts the supplied problems with original island stories and existing game art. The first multiplication factor names the groups and the second names the amount in each. Reversed factors are accepted with an explanation that connects them back to the picture. Play is untimed, with counting help and unlimited retries. Delivery stamps last for the current play session.
